Welcome to SplashX Invent Health (#splashxinventhealth), a quarterly twilight salon-styled tech talk and mixer produced by HP and Vator, where valuable lessons and insights are shared by investors, founders, and C-level executives from healthtech startups. Splash Talks and Splash Chats are 20 minutes of pure, raw wisdom about a particular topic - sometimes fundraising, sometimes scaling.

In this case, the topic is the “The future of clinics.” The CVS / Aetna deal is one example of how local clinics may evolve as the insurance giant can leverage CVS’ retail footprint and CVS can now offer insurance services. Upstarts like One Medical and Oscar Health are also re-imagining caregiving.
