HP CHALLENGE: HOW IS PRECISION HEALTH CHANGING HEALTH OUTCOMES?

Welcome to SplashX Invent Health (#splashxinventhealth), a quarterly twilight salon-styled tech talk and mixer produced by HP and Vator, where valuable lessons and insights are shared by investors, founders, and C-level executives from healthtech startups. Splash Talks and Splash Chats are 20 minutes of pure, raw wisdom about a particular topic - sometimes fundraising, sometimes scaling.

In this case, the topic is “Precision Health.” This is a new frontier of personalized medicine, as well as preventative care, thanks to advances in genomics, big data analytics, electronic health records, and machine learning. Precision Health encompasses precision medicine. What is precision medicine? It’s a move toward tailored and personalized medicine vs a one-size-fits-all approach. Precision health is more about disease prevention and detection. It’s about providing targeted, predictive and preventative care.

HP’s Dr. Archana Dubey and Frances A. Ayalasomayajula, and Vator’s Bambi Francisco are hosting the event.

Vator (short for innovator) is a vibrant startup and investor community, founded by veteran, award-winning business journalist, Bambi Francisco.

Splash is Vator’s large startup and investor festival and one of the most popular pitch competitions in the U.S.

SplashX is Vator’s intimate Splash by night, a tech talk series and mixer where top influencers, entrepreneurs, and investors share insights on what's trending and valuable lessons on fundraising, building, and scaling a startup.

Launched in 2010 in San Francisco, Splash events, competitions, and verticals, such as Splash Health, Post Seed, and SplashX have expanded to NY, LA, London, and Oakland.
